heart of steel

a poem about heart break

hate is a poison of a broken heart,

love is a poison that will tear you apart.

regret is a thing formed by sin,

pain is a thing deep within.

power is a thirst held inside,

loathing is a power that you hide.

envy is a sin that you feel,

now your heart is encased in steel.

It's short but very deep. I especially like that it rhymes, and that the two lines in each stanza "bounce" off each other.

im sorry i kinda messed up, its not supposed to be made of steel, its suppose to be encased with steel. i messed up when i transfered it. i originally wrote it of paper so.
