Math Class

Math Class

A Poem by Rayne Stanton
"

for those times you cant wait to pass

"

Sitting here problems streaming across my eyes

My shoes scrape the ground as seconds slowly tick by

I dropped my pencil and lay my head down

Listening to the ever-slow ticking of the clocks surreal sound

I looked up again a minute passed by

These unsolvable problems i wish i could set on fire

A number thats infinite equals something like four

The clocks continual ticking, figure s=r?

I close my eyes and drift into my world

Full of words

Full of trust

Full of AC/DC surge

And not a sign of those problems, none of that found

Which reminds me of the clock and its slow surreal sound

I like the imagery, and the hatred for math class. I too, really hate math class, especially trig. Never fun to do that. being bored in class is so fun
