The sky

The sky

A Poem by Tomahawk Joe

The sky has joy from souls who laugh at human trials for theirs is passed. The sky has ears where angels hear what foolish things men do. For it is only when we die as angels know what's true. The sky has eyes it sheds it's tears
what man has wrought throughout the years. The sky has wings where angels fly and rescue man in its doomed sigh.

this piece had a simple tone of hopelessness while at the same time being very nice to read and pleasant. the juxtaposition of the sadness and the image of angels is beautiful- great work!
