Guiding Light

Guiding Light

A Poem by Brandon

Listen to your heart

As it starts to speak

For it will lead you

To your very peak

Showing you the way

Being your guiding light

Let go of the railing

As you start to take flight

Throw away your past

Leave it all behind

As you start a new life

Never to be led blind

Life has never been easy

Sometimes a little unfair

Now you hold the key

To release your despair

Just you wait

Great things are in store

You'll start to think

Who could want more?
