A poem I wrote not too long ago...

Uglier than ever before

Troubles taunt me

And throw me to the floor

I don't know which way to go

Do I stay or leave a note on the door?

So what do you want me to say?

Should I act like I'm not sore?

What do you want me to do?

Pretend you're the same as before?

No

Wether it's the inside or out

Things here are ugly

Uglier than ever before

I'm stuck with what I have

Why can't I be happy anymore?

You throw a lot of punches my way

Wether you realize it or not

Why don't you talk to me face to face huh?

Instead of pretending things are the same as before

The music plays through my head

And it blares through the doors

If you want this to be over,

If you don't want to be friends anymore,

Im game

But stop trying to make me feel bad

Because maybe you don't realize it

But my life is ugly

Uglier than ever before

Hardest title to a poem to believe!! Your profile pic is FAR from ugly, so it got me a laugh. lol This poem is far more intriguing, where it goes way below the surface of the flesh and of the cage we reside in. it seems every teenager these days is being ridiculed for their looks and stuff. all I can say is, keep your chin up, life can only suck for so long, right? lol

It was actually about my last relationship. My boyfriend had an alcohol problem and got abusive, and I was in the relationship for a year even after that, just trying to figure out whether or not to keep believing he loved me and would get help.. Then he put me in a coma for a month and my brother damn near killed him.. Thanks for the review sweetie.

I'll use that old adage I always do. men...
honestly I don't know why or how they are how they are at times, others I wonder more why some women put up with it. but of course, it's not for me to riddle out, so I simply sit back and watch the world around me slowly tear itself apart. it's fine, just a habit likely, something you do to make people feel cared for in a simple yet important way. it's the little things some do to share emotions without sharing too much. I could analyze all day, but no one wants to hear that lol.

yeah, it's done that sorta thing to me too. like sometimes i'll paste a poem from word and it'll come out all spaced out improperly and I gotta fix it. real annoying that.

Yeah, that's been happening when my brother post things recently, and when it does I have to listen to him yell and cuss out the computer. :P

I think a lot of people yell and cuss at the computer out loud. I do that with video games during really difficult battles or challenges, but on the computer I usually just think it to myself.
