Tea

Tea

A Poem by Alias

As soon as he was through the door,
He wrapped me in his arms.
With one kiss he begged for more.
And though I knew it did me harm,
I took him lightly by the hand,
And led him quickly up the stairs.
He held me tightly, told me nothings and,
he coolly brushed aside my hair.
Then he pulled me to the bed,
Clothes were strewn across the floor,
My fingers coiled around his head,
And yet still he wanted more.
It felt like hours when we'd done,
When breathlessly he turned to me.
I panted, wet with fun:
"How about a cup of tea?"

Sure, cream and sugar please. :) The first time I read through this Alias, I didn't even realize it rhymed. And to me that is a good thing. It means the rhymes were flawless and that is what I found the second time around. This is a sensually beautiful and well written poetic encounter. Oh, and the ending made me smile.

Nicely expressed, seems a bit odd the way the poem ended, not expecting to have a cup of tea;-] A bit funny, thanks for the humor.

Very nice quiet a good one letting readers to do the imagination and the ending with a good cup of tea :)

I always enjoy the flow you incorporate. The way you involved tea, provided an extra interesting feel to this. Another thing is how you allow the reader to understand the plot without detials shoved right in their face.

Well Done

Very erotic and very sensual.
And the best thing it does is keeps it between the covers. Leaves it to the reader to imagine, which is just the way it should.

Thanks for sharing,
Best,

I wasn't expecting this poem to be about what it was about when I read the title. Suprising & I loved the ending.

Always a nice ending. Tea or coffee. I like the tone of the tale leading to the cup of tea. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Wow. Who knew tea could be so exciting?

I like this piece. It flows and reads quite well throughout.

The wondrous wildness grows, moment by moment, line by line, until there is the purely tender sharing of that sweet sip. A delicious cup of poetry. :)
