Testing Proves Nothing

Testing Proves Nothing

A Poem by xlovehatealicex

Sincere apologies

To be heard by the hundreds

Not genuine enough to be accepted

Yet those lips, soft and glossy,

Accept her words

Unforgetable moments of sorrow

To be recognized by the thousands

Brings excruciating pain

Yet your mind still replays the images

All of which have permanently scarred you

Sweet faint smell of roses

To be seen by the millions

Prickly thorns pierced through your skin

Yet you cherish the bouquet left by the bedroom window

Skin so pale and irresistable to the touch

It shant be shared

Yet those hands dare feel

Even though he knows,

She is mine.
