Sacrifice

Sacrifice

A Poem by ~DeathByButterflies~

An unknown sadness deep within,
Hiding your heart,
Hiding your sins.
All you've done as a sacrifice,
It means nothing,
She has forgotten your life.
Everything is gone,
She remembers you no more.
All you've done for her,
She sees no reason to care.
Why did you dare?
To help her?
To be aware?
She has no feelings towards you,
You are dust moved by her shoes.
Let your anger upon her life,
She shall not know the difference.
She only cares about herself,
You don't fit the equation.
Sacrificing yourself
For an unknown occasion.
Sudden, it seems,
Your anger has burst.
Upon her you throw all of your worst.
She knows not why or how,
Her ignorance has not made her see.
You are now the enemy,
She shall leave you freely.
Left alone,
The choice you made.
Held so long,
Unsure.
Let go of this life you cared for,
Save yourself,
Find life once again.
You are her slave no more.

About
I guess you could say I'm just a kid that likes to write poetry. I'm little more than that, really. I write how I feel, and feel how I write. It may not always be the best decision, or the best writin.. more..
