Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by ~DeathByButterflies~
"

Hm... Nonsense. Is it even really a poem? Doubtful.

"

My cries that fall upon deaf ears

And careless hearts full of desire,

They will never be heard by the likes of you.

Of course, no one cares,

They never hear.

Even in the darkness can there be light

When all is left so often alone?

When you don't hear these pain-filled shouts,

And your ignorance remains shown,

Let it be known that I tried,

Even in the darkest of times.

Even when I didn't believe,

Even when you left me alone,

I tried.

So if this isn't good enough,

Then life isn't worth it.

No matter how far you fly

And leave me behind,

I'll wait,

Even in the darkest of times,

Even if you never come back,

Even when all is lost,

I'll wait.

I'll wait,

Because your promise keeps me alive.

All for you,

I wait.

About
I guess you could say I'm just a kid that likes to write poetry. I'm little more than that, really. I write how I feel, and feel how I write. It may not always be the best decision, or the best writin.. more..
