The woman in the mirror

I look in the mirror and I don’t see me

I see all the things that I hate to see

The demons, the lies, and the pain I hold

But somehow I smile through it all 

Because one day 

I hope to find the happiness I seek

So I put on my mask and walk in the world

I try to fit in with all the other girls

Its fine, it's easy

Just hide who I saw in the mirror 

But it's obvious my future couldn’t be any clearer

One day I will have to face the woman in the mirror

Embrace the pain and all my flaws

To finally see my true reflection.
