if only

sometimes I wonder if I'm introverted or if I just have social anxiety

If only

why do I feel so alone?

even when people surround me

I don't like these chains they bound me

took away my courage and kept me in my shell

it is always too late when I have broken that spell

the people are gone

and I think if only I had let my walls down sooner

if only
