omg I'm a mom!

"

small, tiny, dependant
looking up into bigger eyes.
a gurgle, a giggle,
can it really be?!
the shock never wears off
the responsibilities never lessen, only grow,
but so, too, do the smiles,
the joys,
the heartaches in both happiness
and tears.
parenthood, like a neighbourhood,
isn't just a state of being,
its somewhere you come to live...
and learn and laugh and love...
the hopes and fears of tomorrow
easily blow away on the softest,
quietest breath
from the perfect mouth
of newborn sleep.

I long to be a mother some day and your lovely poem just affirms it.

This says a lot about what a wonderful mother you are. This is motherhood. You put it perfectly.
