I was ready to kill somebody today. This practice (repeated many, many times) saved me from myself.

Breathe in... Breathe out...

 

1. My anger is an object separate from myself.

 

Breathe in... Breathe out...

 

2. I need not carry this object.

 

Breathe in... Breathe out...

 

3. By releasing my hold on this object, I am free to direct my energy in a more positive manner.

 

Breathe in... Breathe out...

 

4. Positive energy is my life-blood.

 

Breathe in... Breathe out...

 

5. By letting go of anger, I can enrich my life.

 

Breathe in... Breathe out...

Author's Note

Zi
You should always breathe in through your nose for three beats, hold it for one beat, and breathe out through your mouth for three beats. This is a proper "cleansing breath".
