Do You Believe In Me?

Do You Believe In Me?

A Poem by Zi

I am myself

And none other

Made of my father

And my mother

I am myself

And always shall be

Truth is never

What you can see

I am myself

            And believe you me

Knowing yourself

Won’t set you free

I am myself

            And I’m in pain

Soaking in that

Eternal rain

I am myself

            And this is true

Not quite the same

But neither are you

This is inspiring. I also really like the creativity shown by bolding certain words to make them say "I always believe in you." That made me feel good, even though it's not directed at me, but this poem has that capacity. Thanks for giving me some hope.
