Ventilator

Ventilators are essential tools

Keeping ventilator in the home is not enough,

For it allows flow of air only in the room.

When a person struggles for breathing,

He may be gripped by dread of doom.

A doctor or nurse can comfort the patient

With a medical ventilator at this stage.

This device may be quite sufficient

If the person is blessed regardless of age.

But everyone is not fortunate during pandemic.

Doctor has to decide to disconnect the device.

The nurse has to comply despite quite traumatic,

The health worker may feel guilty of vice.

Besides these two types of life saving tools, 

Another ventilator may have invisible presence.

This is not tangible,but may be felt even by fools.

This ventilates humanity in the name of conscience.

At this juncture of civilization hypocrites flourish,

Let's invite divine force to rush and punish.

They say that the ventilator may or may bot help on our lives during this pandemic. Then again they might, then again I think of how bad it is when you go in. It may not help. I have a C-pap machine cause i have a sleep disorder. I like your write, has truth in it. Nicely said and written

It is very difficult for the doctors to turn off that ventilator.....the scenario indeed comes before my eyes as I imagine the faces of doctors and nurses and all those workers with full respect, their heads down, saying goodbye to the soul...pure description.... beautiful work👍🏻

Well put, sir. Many such a decision must have been made by young medics. Who gets the magic machine? But as you suggest, is it enough? We cling in desperation to the magic machine but forget our souls. It’s an exquisitely terrifying dilemma posed by a cunning enemy.

Almighty isn't for the humans only, perhaps he granted the wishes and prayers of the silently melting ice bergs and the polar animals. For our air conditioners' ventilators were blowing too much hot air in the earth, they weren't getting to breath normally. Such a paradoxical theme, ventilators doing both saving and scraping lives. I get lost in interpreting deeply! Undoubtedly loved to read this piece.🍀

it is a sad world when doctors have to play God...knowing they don't want to, but choices end up having to be made during times like these, and they are difficult to say the least.
