Eternal flameA Poem by Rochellewhen your gone our flame will fade.
The rain trickles down my cheek,
Footsteps leave no trace, A small sign of hope, As I fall to my feet, Memories of you and I, dancing, laughing, a tail to tell, But for you I see no future with me, A love that wasn't meant to be, It started at hello and ended with goodbye, A soft kiss as I lay him to rest, Free from my love, As he leaves his body behind, The Rain trickles down my cheek, But tears still remain, The knife drops as I fall to my feet, I have no future not with you, All I did was love you, What this could have been still remains, All the blood that ran from your vans, Your still my eternal flame.
