Holier Than Thou

Holier Than Thou

A Poem by Hello, Goodbye
"

causing alienation..

"
Never have you inspected my eyes
Realizing how a million times I've died
No you've never peered into my soul
Realizing that for an eternity I've been cold

All you do is judge and faults proclaim
Yet always failing to accept the blame
No you've never seen beyond your dream
Unraveling mine with pulls at every seam

So here I lay fractured in my demise
With hollow despondency behind my eyes
No you've never understood the pain
Because of course, you couldn't possibly be to blame
