Poverty

Poverty

A Poem by Zicny Teoh

Silent stealth
Like that of white panter
In blanket of mist and torrents of rain
It moved like a silent predator
Among the guardians of the forest
Like a whisper of the secrets of the breeze.

Among the velvet of the zephyr
It embraced the soliditary of the cold
And screamed the consent of the injustice
That chased pavements and consume the poor
Into poverty and fear.
