Empty and dark

silence in the air

whispering secrets

and stories untouched

Of kings and queens

of maidens fair

of dragons and sorcerers, 

Wishes and wants

crystal kingdoms and unicorns

and palaces bright

If you listen close, 

You'll hear

I read this poem as a call to the imagination, an opportuiny everyone has to create kingdoms in the mist and music from the silences that fill the the few remaining open spaces in men's lives- the silences not already mortared up by trivial daily duty.
