Salty Tears

Salty Tears

A Poem by PurpleCupcake

Salty tears
gliding down
a stained cheek
from past tears
that left no marks
only seen by she who creates

Salty tears
drip off her chin
onto empty pages
waiting
for her paintbrush to
mark the serene white paper
but she keeps these
masterpieces hidden away
from wondering eyes
only seen by she who creates

Salty tears
are created by she
