Hannah!

I don't want to be the next big writing sensation. I don't want to be listed as a New York Times bestseller. I don't want to make a lot of money from my writing. I don't want my books to be read and discussed by English classes after I am gone. I don't want to write the next great American novel. All I really want is to make people laugh. And if, by some strange twist of fate, I accomplish those other things along the way, I certainly won't complain. But as far as I'm concerned, all those things are fringe benefits. I just want people to read and enjoy the things I write. Honestly, I don't understand why anyone asks for anything more.
