I just read your post in my group. You sent it to me a year ago. The one about Immortalis. You may not remember.

I have decided that now is not the best time to write another vampire novel. The market is being flooded with them and mine will only get lost in the surplus. I have decided to continue writing, Mongrel. Werewolves are going to be the next best thing. Now... if I can only beat S. Meyers to the punch. She already has one up on me. Damn that woman...

Hey Hedra I'm having trouble msging you, it's taking me to a closed account, so hopefully this pops up in your update screen. I know this site is at the bottom and it's very nearly hopeless but I've got some ideas for quality control that I really have a good feeling about. Everyone's floating around all over this site, right? So what if we gave everyone a direction to float in? I've got an idea for a level system and a user-generated labeling idea that will only work if everyone participates though. Everyone can label themselves as a serious, semi-serious, or casual writer of x or y kind of writing and it will help x writers find other x writers and y writers find other y writers, because right now x writers and y writers are running head on into each other and getting in serious ebrawls because they can't tell each other apart. I've got a mess load of other ideas that I've got posted on a group on my page that don't even need Charlie, it just needs people to believe it's possible to fix this mess. I haven't even talked to Charlie yet or anything, I don't really know what to say to him yet. I'm just not ready to let this place go yet, one more shot and then I'll split if it's hopeless.

So, I get cha but it just seems impossible {seems, not IS} to get this place back to a place where ppl care...f**k that sounds terrible. I just think its too big actually. theres no quality control. People who know their craft and produce things they are proud of dont want to be ripped off and its just too huge to watch out for that now, thats my perspective. Makes me not want to dedicate, you know?

But I miss it and if you have a plan I can see the sense to, I would love to refind this place and help.

Can I ask what you asked charlie?

I do appreciate your input, and I'm glad I can be one of your respected poets. I'm not round these parts much, but I can only assume the general poetry on this site hasn't risen much above the level of the idea a high schooler has of 'erotic'.
I see you're still fighting the fight to make this site something of relevance. Good luck with that.

I'm debating it. We're going to start rebuilding the site in a month or two. It's a hassle because you have to moderate it so much and people get really angry and it's just really negative, but I'm thinking about it.
