"Hope is like a bird that senses the dawn and carefully starts to sing while it is still dark." - Unknown
I'm hopeful that my life is close to transformation; that my efforts have not been made in vain, and very soon, a window will open, and beautiful, luminous light will pour in.
On April 30th, 2008, I packed my car and drove away. I traveled America, following the whims of (myself) and the road. Soon after, my best friend Kara Simpson and I traveled to England, Scotland, and Ireland for a month. I have since returned, but have resolved myself to never be content with the lives of "quiet desperation" which so many of us lead, to continuously challenge myself, and forever walk in Beauty.

I like pandas. I like writing poetry. Taking pictures. Being quiet. Being still. I love music. Healing. Laughing.

If I hug you, I might not let you go.

Thank you, Jason:
My darling chipmunk honors me too much:
Craig is ridiculous: (ridiculously wonderful):
"I will not die an unlived life. I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire. I choose to inhabit my days, to allow my living to open me, to make me less afraid, more accessible, to loosen my heart until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise. I choose to risk my significance; to live so that which comes to me as seed goes to the next as blossom and that which comes to me as blossom, goes on as fruit."
- Dawna Markova
"I gave up on new poetry myself thirty years ago, when most of it began to read like coded messages passing between lonely aliens on a hostile world."
