a late snow falling

on tender spring time blossoms:

pink, though come morn, black

Well, here's a piece of subtle but deep meaning. Wow. The beauty of the snow and the blossoms what a picture, but a beauty that kills because it comes when it is not supposed to. I don't partake in the more structured poetry writes. I find it stifling, but you made Haiku your handmaiden with this one. Also, I don't normally grade poetry but I'm going to with this one. You are getting a perfect score. Obviously. Well done.

Haiku at its best; perfect nature imagery and deep metaphor. Love this.

Bitterness kills even the most beautiful blossom. This is really, really good. I mean it. It is so hard to write Haiku. You nailed it! Angi~

What a bittersweet Haiku, dark and beautiful minichinz. Always hate when that happens...

there are many beautiful things in this life which are quite dangerous...

we are entranced by their beauty not realizing it could be a fatal attraction.
