to dream perchance

to dream perchance

A Poem by annie lee
"

National Poetry Month Day 2

"
to dream perchance (tanka)

the life that i dreamed,
the life that i never lived,
the road that i feared
to walk: they haunt me now and
i am strangled by regret.
