Sometimes I wonder

Sometimes I wonder

A Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.
"

I won't say it to you, you won't say it to me. Together we will suffer in perfect misery

"

:*:

Sometimes I sit and wonder

What it's like to be you

Having all your wishes laid out

It's too good to be true

And I sit here and think

How much you must love that style

The smile that's on your face

Not a tear there for a while

:*:

Sometimes I wonder what it's like

To be someone else, like her

Having all those true friends around

Why do these thoughts occur?

I just imagine how it seems

Her smile seems so perfectly real

I turn my gaze away, she must not know

The way I'm acting, the way I feel

:*:

Sometimes I wonder if he knows

How much I hide from him, what I don't show

If he sees beyond this fake smile

These feelings I won't outgrow

And i'll just wonder watching him now

I couldn't even tell you, no I couldn't

HIding from you is how it goes

Maybe you should know, maybe you shouldn't

:*:

Sometimes I wonder if she knows

I'd do anything to have her, despite what's said

Of course I don't tell her that, never will

I just can't get her out of my head

I'll just ponder, watching her now

She's not mine, nor will she ever be

I'll keep wishing, waiting, for that day

When she asks "Will you be with me?"

I really want reviews on this one. Since it's in both a boy's and girl's perspective . .

You said much twice in the first stanza. "How much you much love that style."

This piece has the innocence of a young girl and boy just losing themselves in the thought of opening up to the other about their feelings for one another.

Some lines seem to be forced to rhyme. I like the consistent rhyme scheme but some rhymes seem unnecessary.

I like the poem though. It captures the thought of such a situation well and even with simplicity :)
