Secret Kiss

Secret Kiss

A Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.

I miss the way I used to breathe
I used to feel, but never touch.
I miss the way our fingers grasped
And never missed, the movement
Left to you and I.

I miss those words we never had to speak,
The looks that met each other's eyes,
A secret kiss.
I miss the comfort of your arms,
And all your charm,
It once was mine.

I miss the imperfections of our lives
But now regret it swallows me.
For what seemed so perfect at the time,
Was just a lie.
And even if I can't have you now.
I'll always miss our secret kiss.

The way you wrote reminded me of a friend I once had. Your piece was very heartfelt by the way :)
