Drowning.

Drowning.

A Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.

Drawing breath into my lungs

Reveling in things lost to myself

Oxygen decreasing, grasping for

Words that may bring back the

Necessity of breathing, of

Inhaling sweet chemicals,

Needing, no wanting something

Gained by my last breath.
