An Orphan's Everything

An Orphan's Everything

A Poem by BenightedWhispers
"

"Oh! What a painful realization as shiny pure emotions falls from my rainy eyes."

"

I’m not your first girl friend.

I’m not your first double-take.

I’m not your first kiss.

I’m not your first friend.

I’m not your first to have

deep conversations with.

I’m not your first

To save you from

another lonely night alone.

I’m not your first

To laugh with,

To cry with,

to depend on.

I’m not your first

for anything.

However, you’re my first.

You’re my everything.

Nothing feels right

unless I’m with you.

You’re my first.

You’re my everything.

Nothing is the same

As it was before,

But nothing has changed.

I’m still not you’re first,

And you’re too stubborn

To ever change.
