Destruction

     Destruction covers the land. Fire burns the buildings and crashes them to the ground. Rubble, buildings, and homes topple onto innocent human beings. Children cry out until their cries are muffled by death. People run as fast as they can thinking that they can outrun death. Another bomb makes its way to the earth only to kill more. Streets crack, telephone poles fall, and animals whine for their owners. Blood... Blood coats the earth with a new color. The green grass, trees, and hills are now blackened by the fire. The ocean has been taken over by a metallic red. Destruction... Desperation... Death... No survivors are the commands given and the commands completed. Not a living soul to cry out for help. There is sadness but not a tear can fall. Smoke and ashes block the sight but from who? There is no one left living. Red... The new color of earth.
