Life Living

Life Living

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer

The bravest thing I’ve ever done

 is living life without thought;

reaching out a helping hand while a car is blazing

 kneeling in a busy road while traffic is still passing.

Giving life to a child,

holding my mother’s hand as her days are ending.

Drawing down in the dark of night

making a friend  as strangers are passing.

Being brave is not in the thinking but a life living.

Yes...a life lived in bravery is more important than the attitude.

So precise and honest, pure and a bit stark. Simple is always difficult, but it is always better.
Magnificent.
