It's amazing how much feeling you can put into just a few words.

How sad... There could be a few ways to interpret this, but the title suggests a more... perhaps prominent, idea. The words one person speaks to or about another really does kill (emotionally or, sadly even physically). I do hope that you never encounter something such as this in your lifetime. That would be absolutely horrible. I have seen people spit cruel words at someone I'm VERY close to over the internet and in real life while I'm sitting only a few feet away and it hurts me as well. I can't imagine how it must feel for people who have this happen to them. The brevity of the poem makes us think a little more rather than just clearly stating what it's all about.
