I feel you near me
Though you are far. 
Your spirit has connected
To my very own
Drawing me to you
With such intense force
Yet so softly, so unknowingly.
It is not about lust
But about an inner beauty
A wisdom and insight I have found in no other. 
We see the same suffering
Feel the same pain
Experience the same sorrow, defeat
Yet know the same hope
Long for the same outcome.
Outside of the box I have stepped
And found you
Waiting without knowing.
A connection unlike any other
I have known before
An admiration so deep
A love that cannot be defined
Or explained in average terms.
Into my mind, my soul, my very being
You have traveled
So gently yet forcefully
You have become a part of me.
I want to be near you
I want to listen, see
Breathe in your very being
Watch you grow
Rejoice in your accomplishments
In your happiness
Feel your pain
Taking it on as my own.
To remain forever
With deep affection
With love and respect
With admiration and joy
We walk together
To overcome the hurdles

I was sad to see the note after reading such a wondrous poem. It simply oozes the deep capacity of love, the potential to reach such heights that many simply cannot find themselves even dreaming about. I am amazed how pure this piece is. It is boggling to somebody like me, who well - has a tendency to dump black paint over everything. I believe I have found this person, myself. Soul mates.......at one time I didn't believe in such things but I found my soulmate when i was 11 and I stayed in contact and now I have her to myself everyday,she calls me her universe but if I'm her universe she is the stuff this universe lives for.....her heart is my sun warming everything it touches,her very breathe is the wind that blows across every planet and one day we will add more planets to this galaxy and it will never end...............this is a wonderful write and it evokes such powerful thoughts on love and that special someone I truly hope you find who your looking for someone with such a beautiful soul shouldn't be alone
