My girlfriend of some time had recently broken up with me. I wrote this out of anger.

You can take all the time you need, and fester in your greed. Because
I'm not waiting any longer. I'm going to prove to everyone that I'm
stronger. Stronger than you, and even the bonds that tether our
meaningless souls to this earth. Talking to you is like giving birth,
beautiful, but it hurts. But if you cared, then you wouldn't have shared
those thoughts that you were thinking. I didn't even have time for
blinking. I'm getting over you, and there's nothing you can do. Though I
really doubt that you'd even want to. So bring me my things, and let me
destroy everything iI have that reminds me of you. This isn't a stab at
you, but merely a chance to prove that I can function just fine without
you. And yes it's true that I always loved you, but I don't think my
feelings will ever be the same. Because you tore my heart out and fed it
to the wolves. So go have fun with your baseball players and the people
you call your "friends". Just don't pretend that I'm here for you.
Because after what you've done to me, you might as well be dead.
