Heal This World My Heavenly Father I come to You tonight on bended knee My heart is heavy with the burden of what I daily see This has always been the land of plenty Yet it seems so many pockets are now totally empty So much pain So much sorrow So many astray Will we have tomorrow But what worries me more than all of this is the anger I sense between Brother and Sis It seems we have become a world of it's my way or the highway There is no compromise How did we all so badly stray It seems this world has badly regressed Back to a place of fear and oppressed Where did it all go so terribly wrong how did we let our weakness gain power over our strong What happened to the values of Family, Country and You Where did we lose it all What can we now do To stand and not salute our flag words of You are all but banned What happened to taking our sister's and brother's hand I pray tonight it's not to late to reach across sea and land to join brother to brother hand in hand in a united stand Is it too late... If you ever had a doubt that, your writing had left you, this proves you wrong. So very beautiful and all so true. It is nice to read fresh and brand new from you. This truely is one of the most beautiful poems i have had the pleasure to read of yours Donna
In my current condition with my illness it was most refreshimg to see people want to care.
with my trips in and out of hospital i see so many people actually making an effort, I just wish those efforts
were spread way beyond the walls of the hospital maybe everyone should read these poem .
