A Poem by getinthecarplease

Neon flowers drawn on the papyrus at dawn
Sitting upon the wall
An autumn shall reveal the reverent seal
Vast echoes with a call
Queen of plastic runs to excruciating puns
All of the fun of the fall

Shadow in a basket dancing to a racket
Of moon and jive in the sun
Sacrosanct saints in a fountain of paints
All condemn the shun
Materialist and military June groove
Forge the empirical one

Socialist Satan fireballs and blood halls
Coin the richest game
Share a troupe of daydream screams
Poison the ritual dame
Born of scorn in the industrial corn
The circus continues to complain

Man,that's a poem. I like the pacing and the text...rich in evocation, I can taste the words...
