Lucidity

Lucidity

A Poem by getinthecarplease

Empress stands in auburn flame
Haunted shame in comely frame
Coalesce the panacea to rhythms of glee
In elixir seas with dulcet trees
Her eyelet luster gives spoken fluster
Beneath the canopy of ivory scenery
Balsam stands in emerald tapestries
Nightingales fly beyond spiritual hope
Forever running to the sabbath note
Emerging from the caverns of illusion
With minuets following her movement
Winds change to fill the range of the queen
And she will cry when the seasons die
And she will die as the hunter cries
Forever joined in eternal Tranquility
Forever revealed to the twilit forest
Child dusk enrapturing love in saffron roses
A maelstrom of angels singing with jade
Porcelain imagery in a gallery of daydreams
Reflection of gleams for the voice's scream
Winds change to caress her with warmth
The melodies vanish in colored lodges
Filaments of poetry in her memory
Night shades of serenity in stars
Beneath the cascade of a liquid blade
Empress stands in floral lace
With a silver veil upon her face
To wed her dream in spring
In elixir trees with dulcet seas
Her eyelet dawns the regal fawn
Forever running to the horizon
