Supernova

A Poem by getinthecarplease

I. O Magnum Noctum
In the weary morning
Coming to a revelation in a trance of delirium
On the pedestal of manifestations with evening
Noticing the collapsed barrier upon the threshold
Held in the air
Elegies of autumn as the angel unravels in utopia
Rolling in the acrylics on the mountain and stream
On the pedestal of apparitions with dawn and light
Twas the noon
As the vizier smiles a charming forbidden trick
As the country perishes in the eyes of the spell
As the river flows in the touch of sequence and night
In the saddened day
Coming to reaction in an epoch of equilibrium
On the stairway of spiritualists with dusk and midnight
Noticing the basilisk singing the songs of loveless kings
I look to the sea
As reflections of the sky gaze at their counterpart
As signals of reverence look to their goddess of music
As the rhyme dies and the form enters a void of logic
II. Our I in Bridges Old
Our joy in gesture
The collective sounds
Improv and peace
With satin on our grounds
I look to the sea
In calm and serene
In talk and spoken
I look to the glee
In theme and post
In wake and lapse
I tread in fear
I walk in lachrymose
Bridges and quarries
Holding stone and river
In winter and spring
In instrument and sing
Old meadows flee
The orchestra weep
The throne is of crimson stone
Old fields gesture in joy
