Pretty Ladies

Pretty Ladies

A Poem by a Messenger
"

All my cable services were out yesterday and I got bored.

"

Pretty Ladies-

I love them all.

Big and little,

Short and tall.

Blonde, brunette,

or hair of red,

Any shade

upon their heads.

I love them young,

I like them older.

Breasts like eggs,

Grapefruit or boulders.

I like short hair

and I like it long.

Fully dressed or

in a thong.

Eyes of brown,

blue, green or gray.

Any ethnic

type's ok.

I like 'em dumb

but I love 'em smart

with a soft

and kindly heart.

I like 'em open,

I love 'em honest,

of those who are

both I am fondest.

I love'em tame

and I love 'em wild.

With downcast eyes

or great big smile.

I love 'em all

and that's a shame,

'cause t'ward me they

don't feel the same.

Technically, I love your use of words, the rhythm and rhyme is wonderful. (ok is spelled OK) This is simply a delightful little ditty.

Love the message. I've said of myself: "I've been sick in love with women since I was a child."

Great twist at the end.

Awwwww what a sweet, playful piece I loved the honest innocence of it all. Left me smiling at the end of it, I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Ah! A crushing end to an otherwise joyous piece. You killed me with that. My heart hurts. Well.....I love this piece and if the women around you knew how much love you had in your heart for them they'd be silly not to come banging on your door. Well....you know I love ya! Not that that helps... : (
Excellent piece!

Great poem. Very relatable. Your description is great as well, from what they wear to how they behave. The last stanza is just the best. I gave a mental sigh and shrug, as if to say 'ain't that the truth.' Nicely done, and thank you.
