Harmony along the bridge

Structure,

  allow me to cross 

As  I approach the bridge Im ready

 for the other side I've broken barriers in my way  

I've broken the concrete myself

 I've struck every barricade full force

 My hands drip blood, not mine 

Why will you not open your gates? 

Please, stable structure

 This path has been damaging

 My body beaten from my battles 

Sweat,tears, and scars My child, 

There's something deeper

 blood does not amuse me

 Your sweat is useless to me 

It was in the name of violence 

Open your soul warrior 

Greed has created a void

 Peace must fill the void

 I do not want a warrior,

 My child This journey has been long 

The only enemy is that of your own 

Recreate yourself my child 

Your blank canvas yearns for color 

Then and only then may you cross
