Once I sang the autumn song...

----THE AUTUMN SONG----

Season of wonder
Nature's beauty fonder
Trees, green to gold
Autumn with the cold...
🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂
When flowers of summer wept
Winter arrived with its promise kept
Leaves falling on the ground
Made a rustling-crunching sound...
🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
Light blue sky
When little birds fly by
Seems to create a way
For the little travellers starting a good day...
🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
Mountains standing strong
Listen to the new wind's song
Ripples on the sea
Could feel the utmost glee...
🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃
I sit under the maple tree
Chewing my favourite toffee
When a new poetry strikes my mind
And finally a new road I did find...

I love nature poems and autumn is my favourite season ...I dont know about other countries but in India autumn is neither too hot nor too cold.It has a soft breeze and everywhere there is an air of festivity .We have dusshera.diwali,laxmi puja and a puja vacation .Nice poem

I love all your word crafting & observations about nature & enjoyment of the season. I think all your stanzas are originally-stated ideas except for stanza 3 . . . this one feels a little bit cliché to me with the often-written expressions of blue sky & little birds.

It feels so great in the lap of nature. This one here reminds me of quite the day I had today. Had been to a nearby Lake, emotions flowing, appreciating the nautre, flowers, leaves falling, cold breeze reminding winter...

My only mistake - I could have penned down something in such a inspirational atmosphere...
