Alive

Alive

A Poem by Jeremiah Medina
"

Boo....

"
There's light surrounding
Engulfing and warming
Absorbed by the darkness
Of the spirit in black

She speaks not a whisper
A cool icy stare
She passes like wind
Like smoke in the air

Her blood is a crimson
A ruby, in pain
Falls down from her quickly
Drip, drop like the rain

Barefoot, she is dancing
In circles, in mud
Sullen smiles enlighten
This place was her home

A soul that is burning
Yearning to die
Though she couldn't know
She isn't alive.

This is good and I liked the flow.

What an intriguingly haunting poem you've written here. Your imagery of this spirit lady, this lady who thinks she's alive but really isn't anymore, was very dramatic and your words flowed very well.
