The Willows Weep and Mourn.

The Willows Weep and Mourn.

A Poem by Joshua Kyle
"

Just a short little poem. My inspiration was watching the seasons change, and seeing the trees cry out as everything decayed.

"
The autumn breeze blew swift and quickly, giving stir to leaves. The sky closed its eyes from blue to gray, as the trees on the riverbank hunched over in decay. The Willows weep and mourn. Along the shore, birds fly away, oh so far away, from the reeds and the bushes on the riverbank. Hunched over in decay, waiting, ever waiting for spring to come again. The Willows weep and mourn.
