I wrote this for Jack...

 

To be with you forever, that is my bliss

Through all my years of loving, I never imagined love like this

All my cares and emotions, all my hopes and dreams

Seem to take form when I look at you, In your arms my heart takes wing

 

My dear, do you see? Can you feel?

How my eyes sparkle?  How my heart heals?

In your embrace, the world disappears

Your kiss is sweet, it erases my fears

 

You are my Romeo, my darling prince.

I saw you, felt you, and have loved you since.

I am the Sun that has been consumed by the moon.

Does it surprise you that I loved you so soon?

 

Our love is as constant as the stars above.

As bittersweet as the cry of the mourning dove.

I have been gentle, patient, and kind.

Now, will you please make up your mind?

 

You tell me you love me so very much.

That you want me, love me, and long for my touch

So, let me be yours and yours alone.

Let me be the one to make your voice moan.

 

I have dreamed since I met you of being your bride.

To speak the binding vows, to be forever by your side.

Even as I speak these words, my cheeks turn a scarlet red

Will I be the one to wake beside you in bed?

 

I want to let love grow and awaken with you…

To make love and bear your children too

My heart is speaking, can you hear?

As my love deepens, it also causes fear

 

Will you choose me?  Be mine forever?

Kiss me, hold me, be my sweet lover?

I truly hope you do, because I can’t see

How to, without you, continue being me…

 

You opened my heart, you hold the key.

After another broke it and just couldn’t see.

How much love I possess for the person I choose.

So this time, I simply refuse to lose.

 

I am done asking, answer me, love…

Will we be together forever, here and in heaven above?

I chose you, I feel this love is right…

So please, please!  Love me and hold me tight!

Beautifully perfect!!! dear...its such a wonderful write...m kinda write...full of love...love that flows unconditionally...never ending...its so hard for me to choose which part i loved the most since i'm in love with the piece in its entirety...the person you love is so lucky and so blessed...one gem of a lover you are and its all over this write of yours...

the ending is so perfect...i'd call it a beginning rather...so touching...so moving...stirring the depths of my heart...reinstating those loving feelings...
loved this write...completely...deeply...even more because i can relate to it word by word...am going through something similar and know how the feeling is...!!!

Wonderful.. I felt that so deep.. wow.. love so intense.. hot like the sun.. it lifted me soooo high..

Anything with a heart and a key or Romeo and Juliet .. always get my attention but the this stanza really captured something special.. that even after being hurt we still move on.. with an open heart and mind.. this is sooo important to remember.. sometimes relationships don't work but then it is very important not to hurt someone else for someone else's doings.. great pleasure to read this one and I will be saving it to my favorites.. for a reminder and inspiration!!! =)

this made my heart ache. i have this boy that i love so deeply, but he doesnt and probably will never love me back. at least you have somebody that you have actually touched and loved, that actually likes you back. this is beautiful and so heartfelt. it makes me envious of you dear girl. dont stop writing, ill look forward to reading your writing.
