A Random World

A Random World

A Poem by LivingDeath
"

I thought about the world itself, and how it makes no sense at all. Government makes no sense, people make no sense, nothing makes sense anymore. So this poem is like the world, it doesn't make sense.

"

The sound of raindrops

hit the moon

as birlds fly underground.

An apple grows

from the sky above

where an old man stands around.

Roided squirrels

run in circles

bulky as a cow.

Where here is there

and up is down

no one knows really how.

The mason jars stay true

holding the glowing stars

of our human hearts.

No one knows the meaning

of uncertainty

the word that tears our mind apart.

The look of madness

in the rotted rock

shine on the withered moon.

A stalled old car

lingers above the air

blowing with a harmonic tune.

I think this poem is really intresting how you put the whole thing together. I don't know how you managed to do this but it's really impressive! :)

I agree with government making no sense, theyv tak all our money and use it for their expenses. I seriously can't stand them, and yeah I guess that though the world can seem like it makes no sense, we can only wait to see how the world understand's us. It may not make sense, because we can't understand it, but this poem, wasn't strange. It does make sense if you understand it, just like a puzzle you have to put the pieces together to truly see the full picture.

My favourite lines, uncertainty makes us blind to what is evident. It can poison our minds to think otherwise. This was a clump of brilliance, even if the world may not make sense to you, somehow you'll understand it.

keep writing, always :)

I didn't think it was strange at all. I liked this one a lot. The random imagery and contradictions to what we know of the physical world all are just tools of wonder. Makes me think of some old REM videos or Peter Gabriel. Ok I just dated myself XD Great write!

your chosen words of expression flow very smoothly. i didn't catch the racism; so it blends in just as smoothly.

This is a very good yet understandably strange poem. It's true that the world we live in often times doesn't make any sense at all. But we all have to remember that it won't always feel this way. You've just got to find a way to make it through all the maddness. The meaning in this poem is very strong. A good read for my eyes. Nicely done.
