What Love Really Is

What Love Really Is

A Poem by LivingDeath
"

Its just a bag full of s**t.

"
Love is but the scars on skin
the pleas for death that cry within,
the drunk and painful crimson nights
that echo in the poems we sing.

I don't agree with the poem, but noneless, I love the raw power of it. Its short and to the point. Write on.

Beautiful. Once more, reality strikes back, and we inherit what is given. "scars on skin", "please for death that cry within" - Both lines sturck me down, and lifted me back up as the truth came into focus. In the short peice, no lies are told. In this short piece, we find the unholy truth that most would think of as lies, who would want to deny. very well done.

Love is yet the honey we seek,
The sensation we don't know whether to embrace or to let be,
They say its blind but can't we see?
This has moved me, and this way the best way of expressing it to thee.

Strong words and emotion in the poem. Many kinds of love. Love for family and children is a beautiful and strong love. Relationship can twist love into many directions. I like this poem. Direct and powerful words. A excellent poem.
