Springtime Play

Let's play together on this wonderful season of spring.

Be welcomed by the cherry tree
As its blossoms wave at you with glee
Ah! don't forget the lilacs and azaleas
Dancing with the playful wind rush
Did you hear the beautiful melodies the hyacinths sing?
How about the hummings of lilies of the valley and little pansies bring?
Say hello to the dainty crocuses on your feet
And the laughing apple blossoms above your head
Hurray hurray spring's really here
Let's come out now and play
We'll make a dozen of flower wreaths
Made from daffodils, tulips and anemones

I'm a-likin' it! First poem I've read today that is upbeat and fun.
Criticism? I would have wished for a stronger meter and rhyme scheme. Maybe this would enhance to sunny scheme of the thing?
