My Mind is an Empty Room Part II of I am the Darkness

 

I bring you into this empty room

I boarded up the windows for you

I know there isn’t any furniture

You probably won’t stay long

 

Let me show you around

There isn’t anything here

I know you will be safe though

I know you be taken care of

I will provide you your food

So just stay here awhile

No need to go outside

That’s where the light moves

No need to see out the window

That leads to my soul

Please, just set for awhile

It’s safer this way

I will provide all you need

I will tend to all your needs

I will walk out this door

I will do all this and more

I will do all this for you

 

 

I bring you into this empty room

I boarded up the windows for you

I know there isn’t much of anything in here

But together we may be able to furnish this place

i really like this poem because it shows the perspective every person should have about everything. it may be very bad, shabby, or horrible at times, but we all should see that we can make it better. great work.
