My Heart is an Abyss Part V of I am the Darkness Odd enough, I like this one a lot.

 

You have found my heart

But now you fall inside

Deeper you and all your being falls in

Now you are lost

 

I tried to warn you about my heart

It never learned to really love someone

It never developed the way it should

A burning pain that shrouds it

I really wish you did not find it

Now I have new pain to tolerate

Now I have new person to care for

I really wish you would stay away

You won’t last one second in my darkness

Your mind will change, they all do

Your heart will change, wondering about this

Wondering how far deep it goes

Yes I have infinite compassion to all I oversee

But you have crossed in a no trespassing zone

For your safety, and my own

I don’t know how to care for you

And I don’t know if I have what you want

The thought of you being in my heart scares me

I only hope you survive this fall

I know I did

 

You have found my heart

But now you fall inside

No light can save you from my abyss

Now you are mine
