Who's going to save my soul

Who's going to save my soul

A Poem by Magdelena

Sometimes we get lost along our way...

Defenseless, I am.
Like a tree against the strongest winds
Branches being bent, torn and thrown about.
I am invisible, movement still, cries silent.
Yet I breathe.
The sound slow, timid,
Against all around.
Nothing matters, nothing has meaning.
For the light has slowly faded,
Hope has left,
Is there more?

Who's going to save my soul?

Your question on the end have very simple answer. Only you and no one else.

I really like the line of
movement still, cries silent
contradicting the chaotic image of the previous line and perfect use of rather extinct oxymorons. Bringing to mind the question of if no-one heard it did the tree fall?...
I think in that one line you have summed up beautiful the whole message of the poem, the desperate need to be comforted but despite your best efforts the inability to be heard by any who could provide. Well done xx

It's a question many ask at different times for different reasons. Very human write. Many will get it.

I believe that we can only save our our soul... with that said, I love this poem, it expresses how we all feel sometime in our live.
